Case 5: Lymphoma & the Four Ominous Signs

As primary care providers we are responsible for more than the identification and correction of the subluxation complex.

We are responsible for the health and welfare of each and every patient.

Symptoms that appear to be outside the scope of our training should be promptly referred to the appropriate specialist.

However, how is one to know when that referral is necessary?

Case in point:

John is an 80 year old white male and has been a patient of mine for a number of years. He has periodically come in for a "spinal tune-up". (yes I do adjust patients).

Back in June of 2004, John and his wife Sandra were out of town at a church picnic when he suddenly experienced pressure in his chest, shortness of breath and overwhelming fatigue.

Of course he was immediately taken to the local ER and carefully evaluated for a cardiac condition. Fortunately, John did not have a heart attack or a stroke.

However, the ER physicians were unable to identify John's symptoms and sent him home.

Although I have copies of all the medicals from the ER, for the purpose of this article, please make note of the below labs from the ER.

Do you notice anything unusual?
